MATH ROAMING GNOME BRAIN BOOST CHALLENGE
The weather was erratic for Patrick’s visit to Anywhere, U.S.A. When his plane touched down at Anywhere Airport on Monday at 2pm, the flight attendant announced that the local temperature was 70ºF. By that evening, the temperature had dropped 20º. Throughout Tuesday morning the weather began creeping up until at noon it was only 15º higher than the previous evening. The temperature dropped another 25º when the sun went down. Wednesday morning, just in time for his flight home, the temperature had sprung up 15º from the temperature the night before.

When the plan finally landed back home in N.Y.C., the flight attendant announced that the local temperature was a whopping 25º higher than the temperature when they left Anywhere, U.S.A.

What was the local temperature in N.Y.C. on Patrick’s return?
